How to use Bite Metronome:

  1. Get some delicious and healthy food ready.
  2. Find a place to eat. Ideally away from work, tasks and distractions, perhaps on the grass outside or a quiet table with a friend.
  3. Press the "Start" button to begin the metrome.
  4. Take a full bite each time the metronome bell rings and chew slowly to savor it. Think about the food - the texture, the flavor, the sound - make the food the experience.
  5. Try this routine with each meal for a few weeks until you are naturally mindful about your eating

Mindful eating is a process to help you enjoy your food more with many side benefits such as better health and weight loss. I wrote Bite Metronome as part of a Noom challenge to train myself out of some unhelpful eating habits such as eating too fast and multitasking while I eat. Maybe it will help you too!
